Developed as transition programs either for Sec.1 or Sec.3, start of year or pre-exam program- Nexus Study Skills program aims to equip learners with effective techniques and strategies to help them retain and apply their learnings. Skills which are imparted include ( but not limited to):
- Positive reframing
- Visualizing techniques
- Memory techniques
- Note-taking skills
- Time-management skills
Neuroscience & Mindset Program
Awareness of how one thinks ( Meta-thinking ) as opposed to wrote-learning, understanding of how the brain functions and most importantly knowing what primarily motivates one to act and perform; makes up the core of this increasingly high demand neuro-science program which aids learners to greater grasp of how to learn at an optimal level
Public Speaking Finesse
Another Nexus’ forte and high demand program- we have developed Public Speaking Finesse programs for learners as young as 9 – 21 year old. Nexus Public Speaking Finesse programs stand out from what is offered in the mass-market as our curriculum masters employ latest frameworks and relevant contexts to ensure agility in today’s multifaceted public-speaking contexts. Whether it’s the Singapore Green Plan 2030 or the 17 United Nations Development Goals ( UNSDG ): we bring on public speaking finesse training at a targeted level to shape speakers who are agile to communicate in multi-faceted contexts.
Career Coaching Program
In support of greater shift towards ability-driven education: Nexus’ Career Coaching program aims to provide students and youths a vision, glimpse and preparation for the illustrious world of work and industry. Using latest tools from RAISEC, DISC & MBTI we introduce students to conversations and secnarios about the future, linking their characters and learning interests to careers they can strive towards.
